A Little About Me

Hello! I'm a healthcare content writer with a unique perspective that combines professional expertise with lived patient experience. With a biology degree and four years of content and copywriting experience, I understand both the clinical complexities of healthcare and the very human reality of navigating it as a patient.


In 2017, at 25, I was diagnosed with TSC-LAM, a rare interstitial lung disease affecting just 160,000 people worldwide.

 

Suddenly, I found myself desperately searching for information that could help me understand my condition. But most of what I found was either too clinical to be comforting or too simplified to be useful.


It wasn't until I discovered the LAM Foundation and connected with other patients that I truly understood the power of healthcare communication done right. That experience showed me how vital it is for healthcare organisations to genuinely engage with their patients through clear, empathetic content.


This dual perspective of clinical knowledge paired with patient reality is what drives my work. I help healthcare organisations create content that maintains scientific rigour whilst genuinely connecting with the people who need it most.

Why This Matters

Too often, patient-facing content is either oversimplified to the point of being unhelpful, or so clinical that it feels impersonal and intimidating. The result?
